adenine bonds with thymine
The bases on these nucleotides are very particular about what they connect to. Cytosine (C) will "pair" to guanine (G), and adenine (A) will "pair" to thymine (T). How the bases are arranged in the DNA is what determines the genetic code.
DNA replication replicates the DNA. It results in two identical copies of DNA in preparation for the process of mitosis.
It is copied. :)
Replication.
The Ligase connects nucleotides together during DNA replication.
That would be called the Replication Fork
DNA replication occurs during the S-phase of interphase. Also known as prophase I
DNA polymerase are enzymes that form bonds between nucleotides during replication.
Replication.
DNA replication produces two copies of the DNA.
The DNA polymerase enzyme produces a new DNA strand during DNA replication
A cell's DNA is copied during replication.
The Ligase connects nucleotides together during DNA replication.
That would be called the Replication Fork
You DNA will be replicated
DNA replication occurs during the S-phase of interphase. Also known as prophase I
DNA replication occurs during the S stage of interphase. The S means synthesis and refers to the synthesis of new DNA during DNA replication.
DNA polymerase are enzymes that form bonds between nucleotides during replication.
Prokaryotic DNA is reproduced with DNA Polymerases replication forks.
DNA replication produces a copy of the DNA. At the same time the cell in which the DNA is to be found splits into two with a copy of the DNA in each. DNA replication is caused by cell replication during the process of mitosis.
