There is very little said about homosexuality as such in either the Hebrew or Christian Scriptures. The books listing specific Mosaic Laws in the Hebrew Scripture do forbid any homosexual contact, along with other laws that are generally disregarded as no longer applicable by Reformed Jews and the Christian Church, such as forbidding charging interest on loans and blending wool and linen together into cloth.
Other passages where homosexual crimes are mentioned, such as the attempted homosexual attack against Lot's guests in Sodom, involve crimes of violence.
