round
Look on the receiver and/or barrel
somewhat dark and dirty. just think what the inside of a barrel would look like if you built a fire in the barrel......................
ugly and dead
It just looks like a barrel with black flakes coming out of the top off the barrel.
It will be eight sided, thus the name hexagon barrel.
I have been looking. Does not look like there are any savage 64 clips larger than 10 rounds.
Awesome
I assume you mean a Savage Model 170 rifle. The link below will take you to a website with photos of a Savage 170.
Look through the barrel and when you see helical (spiral like) grooves, then you have a rifling barrel. These grooves make the bullet spin, which stabilizes it (gyroscopically) during flight.
To determine the degree of choke on a Savage 775, look toward the rear of the barrel just in front of the receiver on the left side. There you'll see some stars engraved into the barrel. The number of stars corresponds to the amount of choke of your gun's barrel. On mine, it's 3 stars which means "modified." Here are the other designations:* = full choke** = improved modified*** = modified**** = improved cylinder***** = cylinderHope this helps!BTW, the old Savage is one of the sweetest shotguns I've ever shot! Butter smooth trigger, accurate and highly reliable!! GREAT gun!www.geeksoncaffeine.com
It doesn't look like there are much out there.
A barrel vault is a structure that spans an open area. It is a ceiling that is like half of a cylinder. Take a soup can and cut it in half from the top to bottom, and then look inside. The shape is that of a barrel vault.
