Ok, flow sensor, I hope you are talking about the MAF, or air flow sensor.
That will be on the air intake tube between the air filter and the throttle body, two or three pronged water tight connector on the outside, and a tube with a tiny filament on the inside, don't touch the filament.
On a 2002 Ford Ranger : The Mass Air Flow Sensor is between the engine air filter and the engine air intake tube
On a 1997 Ford Ranger : The Mass Air Flow sensor is INSIDE the round plastic housing between the engine air filter ( cone shaped ) and the big rubber engine air intake tube ( you will see where the wires go inside the plastic housing )
its on the air filter housing
vacuum leak
It doesn't have one .It has a mass air flow sensor in the air intake tube to the air cleaner .
The Mass Airflow sensor (MAF) is located between the air filter housing and the air intake duct. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071, 1993-2005 Ford Ranger Pick-ups.
WWW.MOTORCRAFT.COM shows remanufactured AIR MASS SENSORS ( mass air flow sensors ) for the 3 available engines on your 1993 Ranger , there are no listings for a MAP sensor
www. motorcraft. com ( no spaces ) does not list a MAP sensor for the 3.0 L in a 1998 Ford Ranger , there is an AIR MASS SENSOR listed which I assume is the same as a mass air flow sensor which would be located near your air filter housing
mass air flow sensor
where is the air flow sensor on a 1997 tacoma
There is not a mass air flow sensor on a 1997 Dodge Dakota.
It is located in the air intake between the aircleaner box and the motor.
