The fuel pump is inside the gas tank.
It's fuel injected so it doesn't have a carburetor
It's just a rubber belt with round teeth on it.
sounds like you have a bad ox sensor or a computer problem
on the valve cover it will have a small vacum line coming out of it. it looks like a little elbow
Yes you can, you have to buy a whole new center for it with the slot in it for the CD player. Its like $80.
If it is like the ( 1996 ) Ford Escort : The BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR is also the CLUTCH FLUID RESERVOIR
The make is the manufacturer, like Ford or Suzuki. The model is the particular vehicle like a Ford Escort.
The Mercury Tracer is same model. The Ford Escort and the Ford Tempo are 2 completely different cars. The Ford Tempo's windshield is going to be too big for the Escort, if I'm not mistaken.
Yes, atleast one side,,,, Look carefully at it, You do not have to remove the exhaust even though it looks like it,
I have a 91 ford escort gt 1.8L and the fuel filter is located on the firewall on the drivers side looks like a tin can and may need a special tool to pull the lines call any napa and they should have the part and the tool if needed
Try running some fuel treatment through, the injectors are prob. stopped up. if that does not help change your fuel filter. other problems may exist like in your plugs and wires.
sounds like your fuel pump is gettin hot
If it is like a ( 1996 ) it is in the trunk , behind the trunk liner on the passenger side ( there is an access plug in the liner to remove )
Where is the starter and what does it look like on 2002 f250 ford diesel?
i have both a zx2 and a sedan in my driveway. it looks like theres no way they're gonna fit eachother.
Disconnect everything and pull it out if it is like a manual 1991 ford escort
take a fuel pressure reading. Its most likely that your fuel pump is weak.
It's looks like this ->O
you need a ford tool kit it is usually like 9 bucks at walmart
Maybe, but it sounds like you need to have your fuel injection system looked at carefully and repaired.
It is a safety switch ford has used forever. If the vehicle is involved in an accident, the switch is supposed to trigger not letting any fuel flow to the engine. It can be reset by just pushing like a cicuit breaker.
The Ford 1.9 L is a tough, durable engine but it is noisy and not very powerful. It does not like to rev and vibrates at idle. The 1.9 L will get better fuel mileage than the 1.8L. The 1.8 is actually a Mazda engine that Ford installed in the Escort. It is a smooth, peppy, quite, engine that I would pick any day over the 1.9 Liter Ford engine unless fuel mileage was all you were looking for and the car is a 5 speed manual. The A/T car does not do very well.
Sounds like it could be a fuel pump. They sometimes get a bit on, offy like that.
