Green means rain.
land.Green on a map usually means land.
It doesn't mean grassland. Green on a topographic map means there is enough cover to hide a tank. It was developed in one of the world wars I think.
On the flight record map, the green lights mean I points that you've collected. Orange lights mean I points that you have first collected during that flight.
Green usually represents land unless your thinking about Golf courses. if it did mean water it proprably be seaweed
depends on the map maker who usually decides what's what; but normaly darker colors on a map mean higher temperatures / heavier rains / stronger winds etcetera.
The path indicated by long green dashes on an ordnance map refers to a walking path that is a public right of way.
Dark green in a map typically represents areas of dense vegetation, such as forests or jungles. It can also indicate areas of high agricultural activity or natural parks.
green areas are usually plains, while brown/yellow may be more mountainous
FC relates to 'Forestry Commission' therefore a green shape with the letters 'FC' on an ordnance survey map means 'Forest or woodland'.
