Although we have no definite knowledge of any extraterrestrials, and we certainly do not know that any extraterrestrials have received any messages from us, we have sent a number of things into space, notably radio and TV broadcasts and various robotic space probes, which would convey information to extraterrestrials if the hypothetical extraterrestrials received them.
Thousands of years ago, probably tens of thousands, people viewed the night sky in awe and wonder. Ancient man took the sky to represent our dreams and nightmares and came up with myths and legends to convey stories to others. The sky was used as a tool to determine when to plant crops and when to harvest, when the rains were coming and when it would be dry, when animals hibernate and when they migrate. They weren't "discovered" - they were imagined and used in folklore and still are today.
According to the June 12, 1898 Proclamation of Philippine Independence, the white triangle is the distinctive emblem of the Katipunan which by means of its blood compact inspired the Philippine peoples to rise in revolution. The three stars represent the three geographical island groups of the country: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, although in the Declaration of Philippine Independence, one of the three stars originally represented the island of Panay, instead of the Visayas. Both representations convey the same idea: the unity of separate peoples and cultures into one Nation. The eight rays of the sun represent the first eight provinces, Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Laguna, and Batangas, which revolted against Spanish rule.
there are several types of space in drama. but mainly it represents emotion between the characters or of the characters. it sets the scene sometimes without the drama needing a spoken introduction/history of the characters. Personal space, the space that characters need for themselves. It can show an emotion of a character, for example if the character seperates themselves from a group, or if they clearly put themselves in a free area. this can show inner conflicts of the character or conflicts between other characters. empty spaces reprensent conflicts or aloneness, full spaces can show conflicts again, (too many, if the character cant find a way to go) and ( i cant remember the correct name for it but, ) the space between characetrs. this space shows the relationship between characters, is there space between them or are they close and comfortable with each other? a space in speech, awkwardness or comfortanleness (this all depends on how the characters themselves are spaced and their relationship) its like having sitting next to a weird guy on the bus, the silence between you is awkward, compared to sitting next to a good friend on the bus. that's all i can think of at the moment. i hope that's what you meant :)
Religious truths may or may not be scientific truths. The most important religious truth in the first creation story is that God effortlessly spoke things into existence in just six days. Compare this to the second creation story, where God's powers are more limited and he could not make living things out of nothing, needing to model them in dirt. As for whether creation of the world itself was from nothing, ex nihilo, many experts in Hebrew have carefully examined the text in Genesis 1:1-2 and agree that the earth was pre-existing.Yair Zakovitch, Dean of Humanities at Hebrew University, in discussing this passage describes a very important religious truth that is almost invariably overlooked, "The thing to remember about the Bible is that the events and characters are just vehicles to convey messages. The biblical narrative was written to educate our young nation, not so much to tell us what really happened."For more information, please visit: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/the-story-of-creation
