What is an "oil change light?" There is a low oil pressure light, which looks like an oil can, but if this comes on you have far more serious problems than the fact that the oil needs changing. The light means you have low oil pressure, either due to some sort of mechanical failure or simply due to low oil quantity. It also more likely than not means that you should have changed the oil many, many miles ago. If you need to know when to change the oil, read the owners manual. It's a time/distance driven issue, not an idiot light issue.
