The wire from the antenna itself has nothing to do with raising and lowering the antenna. Touch the wires that were connected to the stock radio to a hot wire and see if the antenna starts to move. If if does, hook that wire to the wire from the new radio which is supposed to control the antenna motor. If there is no such wire, connect the antenna motor wire to the Accessory circut. The antenna will go up whenever the key is turned on. Or, you can get fancy and install a switch for it.

Will a digital tv still receive and process an analog signal from an outdoor antenna?
No. There will be no analog signal to receive and process from the outdoor antenna. The only signal coming from the outdoor antenna will be digital. When the conversion is complete. You will need to hook up your antenna directly to the TV. Your conversion box will be worthless as far as analog to digital is concerned.

The antenna relay is on the power antenna itself(in the trunk.) a wire goes from the radio harness to tell the antenna there is power to the stereo and then the antenna goes up when it gets that signal(just by the 12volts going to the relay.)
