It means that you are either low on water or there is a problem in the radiator system hope this helps
The Volvo 850 has two horns in front of the radiator, lift the hood and their they are.
low radiator fluid
There are only 2 bolts that hold the radiator in on a 1994 850. they are located in the middle on both sides. I just replaced the radiator in my 850 and it probably took 10 hours of labor after everything was done.
Replace the radiator
To change the radiator on a 1996 Volvo 850, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Drain the coolant by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. Next, detach the hoses from the radiator and remove any mounting bolts or clips securing it in place. Finally, install the new radiator, reconnect the hoses, refill the coolant, and reconnect the battery.
There's no Volvo 850 2000. What you likely saw was a S70.
Check coolant in Radiator!!! Radiator might be empty, fill it, it's probably the reason why your engine is overheated
There's no 2.0L. Volvo 850 engine. Only 2.3L. & 2.4L. ...
Stuff.. I mean, it should be in your owner's manual.hello a red light is on in my 1997 volvo 850 and it looks like a box with a fan in it could you please tell me what needs filling . thank you Donald Mead
The diesel turbo can only fit on a Volvo 850 with a little fabrication.
It does not have a radiator cap, you fill the radiator through the overflow/ reservoir tank located on the passanger side inner fender. It has marks on the tank to show normal fill levels (about half full is normal).
You can find an air conditioner for a 1994 Volvo 850 on Ebay. The Volvo 850 was designed by Jan Wilsgaard. There have been 1,360,522 units made between the years 1991 and 1997.
