If you would like a simple picture guide to replacing the stereo in your 1995 to 1999 Hyundai Accent please follow the guide at: http://www.soulaccent.com/guides/X3-headunit/X3-headunit.htm Please note this guide is for the Accent's fitted with the rotary dial type climate controls. Yes, the Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL is a front-wheel drive vehicle. This means that the power from the engine is directed to the front wheels, which helps with traction and handling. Front-wheel drive is common in compact cars like the Accent, offering better fuel efficiency and interior space.
On a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe, the starter is located on the top of the engine just to the right of the heat protector. To replace it, you have to remove the negative cable on the battery, and then remove the starter cables. Then remove the 2 bolts that hold the starter in place.
if it's anything like the location on a 1999 Accent, then it's at the front of the engine block, under the passenger side headlight. it is can be viewed from the under the car.
It all depends on the use and maintanence you give to it. mine has 170,000 miles on it and stills drives like new.
