About 70% hydrogen, 28% helium, and 2% "other elements". As time goes on, the nuclear reactions in the Sun's core are fusing hydrogen into helium, and releasing vast amounts of energy.

In about 4 billion years (or so), the Sun's hydrogen reserves will be about half-gone. at that time, the Sun will heat up and begin to fuse helium into carbon and other heavy elements. The Sun will then expand into a red giant, and consume the inner planets.
