It could be a cold, but more likely just an allergy. If you have any sinus pressure, then it would point more towards a cold. My suggestion is to rest, don't go beyond your limits, drink loads of fluids, maybe take a hot bath, and be aware of your symptoms and fever. As soon as you suspect a fever is spiking, take fever reducers immediately to avoid possibly worse effects. If you can take about 1500mg of vitamin C (a day) then that would help your immune system fight off the infection. It is not necessary to do so of anything I have said. Those were just my suggestions.

Those are some of the classic symptoms of influenza; usually a fever is included, too, but not always. However, without fever, there are many other things that could present with those symptoms, such as a common cold or Allergies. Only an examination by your health care professional will determine which. If you try over the counter cold and flu remedies without success, or if symptoms persist for longer than a week to 10 days (coughs can last longer, up to 2 weeks), or new symptoms develop or continue to increase in severity after the 3rd or 4th day, it would be prudent to contact your doctor's office to tell them your symptoms and ask if you need to go for an examination, especially if you have underlying medical conditions.
