the Horn of Africa is in the northeast of Africa, jutting out into the Indian Ocean. The four countries found on it are Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. Somalia is the main country on it.
The "Horn of Africa" is found in the north east portion of Africa comprising of the countries of: Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea. It is so named for its shape, which looks like and old shell horn (musical) not animal horn.
