The blue tang (Acanthurus coeruleus) is a Tropical Marine (salt water) fish inhabiting the tropical waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Many live around the Carribean reefs where they graze on algae. They have dangerously sharp blades on either side of the caudal peduncle which can inflict deep and painfull wounds, so great care is recommended when handling them.
Like all tangs they need a large proportion of algae in their diet, but also should have meat. I would suggest 1) New Life Spectrums Salt water pellets (best food out there) 2)Frozen mysis shrimp and 3)Nori.
