A producer, like all plants.

Although plants do require nutrition they do not 'eat', it is closer to absorbing or taking in. This is why plants are producers.

Remember, producers get eaten and consumers eat!

Reed Sweet grass is an ornamental plant. The Sweet grass can be eaten by any insect of herbivore. Two examples of what would eat the plant would be beetles and deer.
