4-5 years anesthesiology residence (even more competitive since this is a highly desired field of medicine)

pass board certification exams in your province/state (this is easy compared to the last 2)
So if everything goes smoothly, 8 years after high school you can earn the salary of an anesthesiology resident of $50,000-70,000 yearly. And 12 years after high school, you can enjoy the full compensation of a certified anesthesiologist, which is a huge amount- $300,000-500,000 yearly!
