Obesity affects teenagers in many ways. It can increase the likelihood of various diseases such as Heart diseases, Diabetes, breathing difficulties, cancer and osteoarthritis. As well as having a higher chance of these diseases, obesity has been found to reduce life expectancy. Other than having an impact on the teenager's physical health, it increases the risk of many mental health conditions as well. The teenager might get bullied or taunted by classmates, or schoolmates, because of the fact that they are obese.
