Aryans established a social caste system called the Varna Vyastha which divided the people into 4 groups :

Kshatriya (nobles, warriors etc)

Brahmin (priests)

Vaishya (merchants, trade people etc)

Shudra (service people liek doctors, teachers, etc.)

All these 4 groups were on an equally based structure until later they were grouped from top to bottom giving one a higher caste than the other. But it did start out as an equally structured system.
