Not generally, although MacGuyver could make an electromagnet with a toothpick and a spool of wire.
It could overheat
Usually it's a permanent magnet. You could use an electromagnet instead, but doing so is considerably harder from an engineering standpoint.
You could either put a bar of iron in the center of the electromagnet, increase the voltage that you put in, or make more loops of wire.
It can, it just wouldn't be permiable.
increase the current on the electromagnet

No, but a powerful electromagnet could.

Maybe he is and he's not. If he's not bad, remember he could still change.
Yes. There are huge electromagnets suspended from cranes that could do that.

The advantage of an elecromagnet is that you can turn it on and off with a simple switch. So for example if you want to pick up a scrap car with a crane/electromagnet and move it, you can turn the electromagnet off when you want to release the car. You could not do the with a permanent magnet obviously.
They turn on and off by taking the battery out and putting it back in or if it has a switch then you could use that.
Pitbulls no matter the size are blessed with strenght. They could many thinks bigger dogs cant.
