Does it stay running after putting gas down throttle body? 88 should be throttle body injection not carb. TBI you should see gas squirting out of the injectors when its cranking if not then no pressure or bad injectors, wiring
As far as I know there is no carburetor in an 89 Chevy corsica.
Begin by removing the alternator belt on your 1989 Chevy Corsica. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.
fuel pump is the first place i would look
that all depends on if its a 4 cyl or 6 cyl. all labor rats are dif. and so are the belts and supliers
29s, i replaced the oil pressure sender on my 92 corsica 3.1 and i did it while having my starter changed because it is located directly above the starter on the engine block.
If you just asking how much a new one is I just replaced one on my 1995 Corsica and it cost a little over $70. That was just the price of a new one I did the work myself.
No, it has a throttle body fuel injection system (TBFI). It may look like a carburetor but it is not. The injector is mounted inside the throttle body that looks like a carburetor.
IN THE ALTERNATOR
The evaporator for a Chevy Corsica can not be unclogged. When it gets blocked, the evaporator can only be replaced.
With AC, 105 Amp.
Sounds like a bad alternator. The alternator runs the accessories as well as the charging of the battery, whereas the battery is resposible for start up. If you had to charge your battery that also means that alternator wasn't doing it's job and needs to be replaced. Its not a big deal to swap it out.
I just put a open end wrench on it, and stuffed my hand in
