A pre owned Honda Civic will only be a good investment if that Honda Civic is actually in a very excellent condition. However, if it is on the ok or bad side, then probably not.
A 1997 Honda Civic has a lightweight frame and it's chassis allows for the easy swap of a B-series engine. Any VTEC powered B-series will add a large boost of power and drive ability.
Since there are no aftermarket rear wiper blades available for the 2002 Honda Civic, you will have to go to the dealer for that rear wiper blade. See sources and related links below for info on a good place to get front wiper blades.
