No.
Petrol engine should be underneath near fuel tank. Diesel is under bonnet in engine bay.
if its the encore, its the old push rod engine, very good engine but unfortuantly it takes the most expensive oil, which is 5w30. I worked in a ford garge and found even the mondern z-tecs take 5w30. Very rarely fords have 10w30 (usually for the bigger vehciles like the transit, ranger ect) If u have same prob had with my encore which it was burning oil like petrol you might want investigate your tapets, the clearences may need adjusting, if tht doesn't fix the problem its prob a piston ring.
I think about 28-30.
WHAT ARE THE BASIC PARTS OF PETROL ENGINE? HOW DOES PETROL ENGINE WORKS?

Petrol in a diesel engine will destroy the engine.
A petrol (gasoline) engine can be an otto cycle engine or it may not be. Click the link.
Gottelieb made an engine that ran on petrol.
Who told you it is harmful? It is only harmful if it is a Diesel engine. If it is a petrol (gasoline) engine then Petrol is what it takes to run.
If you use Petrol or Gasoline in a Diesel engine you will destroy that engine. That is why you do not use it.
