Substrates don't help enzymes to work. Without a substrate, an enzyme would have nothing to work on. A substrate is the substance acted on by an enzyme.
When an enzyme coola below a temperature where it can work, it denatures (dies).
Different enzymes work best at different pH. This is refered to as the ideal pH for the enzyme. For example, the digestive enzyme trypsin works best at an acidic pH while alkaline phosphatase works best at a basic pH. Therefore, enzyme activity varies with pH and this variation depends on the enzyme being studied
The substrate is the molecule(s) that an enzyme works on
PCR is an enzymatically guided process. In optimum pH the enzyme will work best.
Catalase is an enzyme and enzymes work best with a specific substrate. The enzyme can work with any substrate just not as efficient .

You could probably ask 10 people that work at home what is the best job - and you would probably get 10 different answers. There is no single best work at home job - the best is what jobs you like to do and then do it for work.

Probably, but it would work best if you sand the furniture first...
It depends on what type of Enzyme. Enzymes have different optimum pH depending on the environment they work in, for example and enzyme in the stomach of a human would have a pH of about 2 but an enzyme in human saliva has an optimum pH of 5.6.
I would probably say Muskoka Woods. MuskokaWoods.com
English and French would probably be the best; however, you really only need to know the language of your own country, because if you were sent there to work, you would probably be working with people from your country.
