OK lets start with the pacific after the battle of midway the united states reduced the aerial arm of the Japanese navy by more then 10%. Then on cape Gloucester and the Guadalcanal the marine divisions managed to clear out the shipping lanes that ran from Australia to the western portion of the united states and also managed to relive some of the pressure off the Australians.

After the battle of the coral sea rear admerial William F hulsey defeated units of the Japanese navy and again releaved presure twords Australia.

You also have to remember that their would never had been an invasion of normandy with out the united states and great britan having to chase down Rommel in the desert.

Then in the summer of 1940 the royal air force managed to destroy most of the Luftwaffe during the battle of Britain. Preventing the germans from invading great britan.

On the eastern front during the early years of the war the Germans had managed to beat the Russian armies back with in a hundred or so miles of Moscow then managed to turn the tide of war on the eastern front by beating the German army at Stalingrad.

Did Jacqueline morgenstern die durning the Holocaust?

Yes, unfortunately. After her mother died of malnutrition, she was transferred to a children's barracks where the living conditions were much better. The children were being held for future medical experiments...she was eventually injected with tuberculosis cultures which of course, made her and the other children extremely ill. She was then injected with morphine until she slipped into a coma and hanged before the Alies could reach the camp. The allies were less than 3 miles away from the school. Jacqueline was murdered along with 19 other Jewish children ranging from the ages of 5-16
