During the Armenian genocide nearly 75% of the Armenian population was murdered and thus it affected negatively on the population's growth,and led to a step back in the Armenian culture, economy, and they had a hard time to rebuild the counrty.

Not at all. Armenians are actually located in South-East Europe. We are white. However, because of the Armenian Diaspora in 1915 as a result of the genocide, many Armenians fled to the Middle-East-thus explaining why some of us have dark/olive skin. Armenians in Armenia all have light skin typical of Europeans and usually have brunette hair with brown/hazel eyes.
