In 2003, an airplane from Afghanistan crashed on the tallest office building in the US on purpose because they didn't like Americans. After, there was lots of smoke. Lots of people in the building died and only a few survived. It was big news that day. The reason why the news is called "Nine Eleven" is because it's on September 11. September is the 9th month and it's the 11th day. United States got sad and mad that they started fighting Afghanistan back by war. Lots of countries helped the US like Canada.
