Mother Teresa met many people that some might call important. Princes Diana and Ronald Reagan were just two examples. Mother Teresa followed the teachings of Jesus and did not judge people or their motives. She left that up to God.

First of all, Mother Teresa was herself an important person, not only for the work she did, but for the positive image she gave the Catholic Church in difficult times. She met many other important people and seems to have been willing to make friends with charlatans and dictators as readily as she made friends with admirably important people.
