Provided your tank is large enough to hold them when you follow the rules below, you could mix in most species of the Tetra, Rasbora, Anabantid, Dwarf Cichlid, Danio and Barb families to name but a few. The basic rules of fishkeeping are. :- 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank need to have at least 50% of its water changed every week. If you keep to the above rules, keep the water temperature right for the fish you have, and feed them properly, your fish will stand a chance of surviving. If you fail in any of the above I can guarantee that your fish will be constantly getting sick. (Remember when applying the basic rules that Silver Sharks need a large tank. They should be kept in groups of 2 or more and they grow to around 15 inches long).
Fish that have long, wavy fins should not be put with guppies, because guppies will nibble their long fins. Also, many bigger fish will eat guppies. Keep a separate tank with guppies and a few "cleaner" fish, which do not harm guppies.
If the goldfish is big enough and the guppies small enough, yes the guppies could well be eaten by the goldfish. Also, guppies should never be with guppies are guppies are tropical fish and goldfish are coldwater fish.
No
They are tropical fish. There are also wild guppies. If you have a stream or something running into your pond that is probably why. Or someone could have put them there and then they reproduced.
Platies and Mollies go great with guppies!
Guppies, silver dollars, cherry barbs, and tetra are just a few. However what ever you do DONT PUT GOLDFISH WITH OTHER KINDS OF FISH they pee too much ammonia and will kill all of your other fish.
My rainbow shark ate mine :( It's probably not a good idea.
No.
You can try to put Guppy fish in with your Betta fish. That would be one of the only fish that i would put in with my Betta fish. I say that because i have a Betta male and he is OKAY with guppies. the first guppy i put in his died to to getting picked on by him but the others did not, so just give him another chance if you decide to get guppies. Hope i helped!
Not if you don't put them together. Amphibians poison the water for fish.
Guppies are community fish that should never be kept alone or in bowls they require large tank, at least 10 gallons.
Any community fish type ,they should labled. dont put simi aggressive or higher or they will be gone.
