Clown Loach (Chromobotia macracanthus) grows to be quite a large fish (10 inches to 12 inches long) and they should be kept in groups of no less than 5 fish. They will mix well with other peacfull but largish fish like Silver dollars and Bala sharks. The minimum sized tank recommended for these larger species is at least 6 foot long.
