The low side has a bigger fitting then the hide side
The low pressure side of most cars is the larger of the 2 lines. This should hold true for the Comanche as well.
The low side (smaller fitting).
if you are referring to the a/c lines just trace the biggest line from the back of your compressor to the fitting and that's your low side port.
low side of a/c is the larger diameter line it the smaller fitting(charge side) vs. high side is your smaller line larger fitting
The low side will be located on the front side of the a/c manifold..........
The low side fitting is on the accumulator. Knowing how to service the unit is more important. Today's air conditioners require EXACT measurements or you will have problems. That is best left to a certified technician.
LOCATE THE SERVICE FITTINGS Next, you need to locate the service fittings on the A/C system. There are two: a LOW side fitting and a HIGH side fitting. The LOW side fitting is usually located on the suction hose or line that goes from the accumulator to the compressor. The HIGH side fitting is located on the line that goes from the compressor to the condenser. On newer R134a systems, the LOW and HIGH side service fittings are quick-connect style fittings. The LOW pressure fitting is SMALLER than the HIGH pressure fitting.

If you are wondering where to add R134a on the low side, the fitting is located on the passenger side of the car, near the compressor and towards the headlight from the drive belt (fairly close, about a foot away, to the radiator). There should be a black cap (screw) just like a valve stem cover on a tire covering the valve. The high side connector is located in the engine compartment, passenger side, near the fender well back towards the alternator and very close to the drive belt. The high side fitting is much harder to find (see) than the low side- the low side is right out in the open. The fitting you have for adding R134a from the can will not fit on the high side. The high side fitting is larger than the low side fitting.
The A/C low side service port is by the Firewall, just below the Passenger's Side Windshield Wiper Arm.....
Always to the low pressure side. The low pressure side fitting is normally near the dryer ( large silver canister).
