Jesus told the disciples that they should baptize people, pray for them, heal them, and spread the word of god to the utmost areas.
1.not to be angry 2. not to hate each other
Two that would be of most importance to the apostles would have been the authority to ordain others to the ministry. Second, that when He had returned to his father in heaven he would have given them the gift of the Holy Spirit to testify to them the truth of all that it would instruct them in. Up until that time they had no need of the Spirit as a permanent companion for Christ was there to instruct them. The Holy Spirit did however testify to each of them that Jesus was the Christ before His death.

Jesus gave the Apostle the power to heal and not the power to forgive sins. Because if the Apostles can forgive sins, what would be the significance of Jesus dying on the cross?
The Feeding of the 5000 (aka Five Loaves and Two Fish) took place near the city of Bethsaida. Jesus withdrew there upon learning of the death of John the baptist. The mass of people that had been with Jesus, had followed him to Bethsaida. Upon nightfall, his apostles had requested that he send the crowd away so they could get themselves something to eat. Jesus told them to let them stay and that the apostles should give them something to eat. Jesus took the food, looked to the heavens, gave thanks, broke the loaves, and then fed the entire crowd.Reference: Luke 9:10-17 (Provided below)
The fun is that no Christians can be an apostle because Jesus himself has to give them that title and thirteen was chosen back in C.E. time.
After Jesus died, he arose, and ascended into heaven. But he sent his Holy Spirit to be with the Apostles to give them faith and courage. This was known as the Pentecost. All sacraments in the church are metaphors for the actions Christ showed his Apostles. So Confirmation is the embodiment today of inviting the Holy Spirit to be with us.
messiah, king of kings, redeemer, the almighty, alpha and omega,
I say that Jesus is the commander of the Lords army, because whenever it is an angel, it SAYS that it is an angel, it is just like Jesus to come like a soldier, think, for example, Jesus came to Abraham and Sara as a traveler, he came to the apostles just like a normal stranger, and he came to Joshua as a soldier, to give him courage.
To give a fantastic show.
