A compressed folder can have many extensions. The usual windows extension is .zip. But .7z (for 7zip) and .rar can also be used.
.FOLDER but you can't turn a file into a folder by just adding above mentioned extension at end of any file. but it's surely possible with any programming language. Folders are a part of Windows Explorer unlike files.
This is impossible, Windows and the Nintendo operating systems are completely incompatible. The drivers for one will not work and cannot be installed on the other.You will need to get a Nintendo driver.
im not sure what you mean by extension. If you mean like exe, doc, they dont have one as it's not necessary in Linux to use one as it is in Windows. All device files will be found in the /dev folder when the printer is hooked up

It's the System folder. But if you are looking for windows/dos commands you'll find them in the Command folder
