well lots of food like Pizza spaghetti raviolli and lots if other stuff i do not know about******

i believe The above contributor had it just right when they wrote PASTA. Most Italians still eat pasta daily.. It is prepared hundreds of ways all over Italy.

And yes, Pizza too make Italy famous. It is still served in Trattorias and Take out windows in Italy , and sometimes prepared at home.

As for ingredients that make Italy famous i would say olive oil, garlic, and olives..
