WHAT FOODS CAN YOU EAT ON THE PALEOLITHIC DIET

The foods that you can eat on a Paleolithic diet are important.

However, the foods that you should not eat on a Paleolithic diet are equally important.

If you adopt a Paleolithic diet, your foods need to be unprocessed. Eating Paleo foods means eating fresh lean meats, fresh fish, shellfish (unless allergic), fresh vegetables, and fresh fruits. You should avoid refined processed carbohydrates.

Our hunter-gatherer ancestors never (or almost never) ate grains or products made from grains, dairy products or products made using dairy products, or legumes (such as peanuts) or products made from legumes (such as tofu or peanut butter).

For lists of foods to eat and lists of food to avoid, and for in-depth information about the Paleolithic diet, use the page link listed below.
