Beef, pork, lamb and chicken are where most people get most of their protein. Beans, meat eggs and nuts also have considerable amounts of protein.
The answers above are correct, but by no means an exhaustive list. The flesh of any animal is rich in protein. Any animal includes mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, insects, mollusks and crustaceans. Flesh is not necessarily limited to muscle; heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and tongue all contain a large proportion of protein. Peas, pulses, cereals and soy should be added to the vegetable sources.
Note. every single thing mentioned above is eaten somewhere on earth.
The questioner asked about protein content, but did not specify "appetizing".
There is animal protein and plant protein. Each has it's advantages. Animal protein is "complete", meaning it has all of the essential amino acids but is harder to digest than plant protein. Plant protein is easier to digest but usually is deficient in one or more of the amino acids. All protein is made up of amino acids. There are about 20 amino acids and 9 of them are essential. Essential means if you don't eat them, your body cannot make them. Non-essential amino acids can be made from other non-essential amino acids or from essential amino acids but depending on the amount of each consumed one might not have enough of essential amino acid to make enough of a non-essential amino aicd. The best bet is to eat one-half animal protein and one-half plant protein. Your body can only absorb very small particles. With protein, the body can only absorb individuals amino acids or tri-peptides. Peptides are small strings of amino acids and are created when you body digests protein.

Meats, fish, peanut butter, and beans have protein.
Meats are the natural food that have the most proteins in them. You can also drink protein drinks which has a lot of protein in them. People usually drink these after exercising to build muscle mass. Beans also have some protein in them, along with nuts.
Some protein drinks are good for you which makes them important but the ones that aren't that have lots of sugar are useless.
