Hi! I just became a vegitarian 4 months ago, and I have lost 20 pounds so far.So I suppose that you would lose about 5-6 pounds a month. But some foods you should know you can eat are:all fruits, all vegstables, peanuts- needed to be unsalted. You can eat grilled chicken, all sea food, peanut butter, and pasta. Stay away from red meat and fatting foods such as cake, candy, pies, ect.
Losing 40 pounds in just 1 month is actually dangerous. You can really mess your body up by losing that much weight in 1 month and you would have to do unhealthy things to accomplish that.
