There is no single recipe that will please everyone. Some people even have Allergies to specific types of fruit. Others just don't like some fruit. I personally do not care for papaya (but chances are I am not on your guest list). I would suggest therefore that you just get a variety of fruit and put it in a bowl (or if necessary, more than one bowl) and let people choose the fruit that they want. No recipe required.
