Most vehicle manufacturers use the same fuse for the dashboard lights, and tail lights. It is an attempt to make sure you know that something is wrong, and replace the tail light fuse when you don't have tail lights. It is also a method that doesn't seem to always work.
This question is not answerable.
check the fuse
The odometer is electronic, there is a plug in on the back of the speedometer, however the plugin for the odometer also may power other controls, so this may not be a good idea. I dont know why your trying to stop the odometer but your out of luck the computer keeps track of your information your odometer is just a read out like a monitor
Odometer Fuse Box RelationshipThat depends on the type of odometer. For example, a mechanical odometer which is driven by a mechanical cable will NOT have any connection to the fuse box OTHER than for lighting, IF the odometer has a light inside of it.On the other hand, if the odometer is of the digital electronic type, it will, in a remote manner, be connected to a fuse which is usually a fuse designated for the "Instrument Panel." In this case, the digital odometer is usually built into/on the Instrument Panel Printed Circuit Board [PCB], and thus will be connected to the fuse box via the PCB wiring harness.

The odometer light fuse also controls other lights on your instrument panel. The odometer light can be removed by removing the instrument panel cover. Push the light bulb in and turn at the same time. The light bulb will come out. Replace it with a new light bulb.
I've recently put my car in for a service with the same problem and they actually hve to remove the whole dashboard to replace the light globe for the odometer reading. so it probably needs 2 go 2 the shop sorry m8
# Turn your car on -- make sure you are see the odometer -- not the "trip meter" but the actual mileage odometer. # Turn your car off. press the odometer button down, while you turn your car on. The numbers will turn into "--" one by one until all gone. Then it is reset.

AnswerMy van was doing the same thing, dealer found leaking fluid from the brake master cylinder in the wiring harness just below the cylinder. New cylinder no more blown fuses
There is not an odometer cable. The odometer is driven by the speedometer. If the odometer is not working then you will have to replace the speedometer head.
