With the 99' 4-Runner you have two separate fuse locations. You have one just below and to the left driver side door. That is locale number 1. Locale number 2 is under the hood on the drivers side. (Of course this is a US Model so the location may differ in other countries) The box you need to look for has fuse amperages listed on the top of the rectangular black box. Lift that cover off by pressing the latch closest to the engine. Once open you will have access to additional fuses. Look on the top of the cover and use that as your guide. Stay away from the black box like fuses unless you know exactly what you are doing.

To reset the ABS and brake lights on a 2002 Toyota MR2, trying disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. A Toyota dealer can also reset the lights.
The only way to turn them off is to shut off the ignition, pull on the parking brake lever, then restart your engine. Running lights should be off. Once parkig brake is released, lights will come back on.
Um... Aren't all brake lights in the back of a car?
My 2000 Toyota Tundra Truck, the brake lights come on when your not pressing on the brake paddle. Not even even if the car is on.
