They ALL have a mix of fuel suppliers, You can't find any one company that supplies only American fuel. Each and every distributor gets their fuel from overseas AND USA. Some get more than others, but when faced with only buying American, no one individual company does.
On the contrary there is one company which is better than all others. Valero. It sells gas only from oil rigs owned by Americans, in addition, all of the oil rigs which supply the oil are in American territory (off shore gulf) with the exception of one, which is in Canadian territory.
Okay- Let's keep in mind that American owned company Valero is currently using its corporate muscle to roll back environmental laws for clean air. Using Chavez/Venezuela as an excuse to boycott foreign oil is a ploy to get people who don't know enough about the situation to believe they are being good Americans, when in actuality they are being duped into helping the ultra-rich get richer in America, the exact opposite of what's good for Americans in general politically.
Be smart. Join the boycott and bring the oil companies in line. They're controlling our energy usage and dictating policy about advances (or lack thereof) in alternative energies.
From what I understand, the only two companies that I know of that supply 100% American oil/fuel are Valero and Walmart-Murphy,s.
Countrymark! It sells 100% American drilled and made fuels. They are out of illinois, and they are expanding. Check them out @ Countrymark.com, they sell in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. I hope they continue to grow.
Tom Thumb gas stations are supplied by various oil companies, but primarily by major fuel distributors such as ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, and Valero. The specific supplier can vary by location and market.
All gas stations have mix from all different parts of the world. America's stockpile is largely unused in case we get into a war and loose all access to foreign fuels. However Sunoco and BP don't use Middle Eastern fuel, so you'll have a better shot at getting American fuel at their gas stations than you would others.
Is there a universal gift card for gas stations
Racetrac has never caused me problems economic for car and wallet All major gas stations have good fuel.
In a fuel tanker specially built for that purpose.
Countrymark! They are 100% American. They are based out of Indiana. They have stations in Indiana, Ohio Kentucky and Michigan. www.countrymark.com.
If the gas pump at the gas station excepts fuel cards then most likely it would provide fuel cards for that particular business or gas company. There are of course going to be older gas stations in some parts of the world that do not provide fuel cards and or will not except them.
Chevron, ExxonMobile, and Sunoco stations are operated by American owned oil companies. But there are dozens of other American companies that own and operate gas stations throughout the country. Holiday, SuperAmeria, Pilot Flying J, Sam's Club, Casey's, Phillips 66 and many more are American owned gas stations. With the exception of the stations that are owned by foreign oil companies. most gas stations in the United States are American businesses.
