1. Make sure you can unscrew the fill bolt (the one in the middle of the differential).
2. Drain the fluid by unscrewing the bottom bolt on the differential, with your oil catch pan ready. When it's done, screw back in the bottom drain bold.
3. Now put in 80W90 gear oil, hopefully synthetic, until the fill hole starts to spills out.
4. Make sure both bolts are tight and away you go.

i know the front differential is a 4.11, but can any one help me find out what vehicles other than the truck this differential came in?
If both are 4X4 then yes.
It will fit, obviously the body styles will clash abit, but no biggy
Purchase 2 quarts. It will take 3 to 3 1/2 pints to fill it.
