There are 3 different Mayan Landforms.

1. Lowlands- Dry and flat with scrub forests. Along the eastern area of the Yucatan.

2. Central Lowlands- Lush Rainforests with high temperatures and frequent rain. Located in the Central part of Maya.

3. Highlands- The Western landforms in this area. Cooler temperatures and less rain. Area is just north of a volcanic mountain range just south.
