Quite alot of ghost have been seen loitering round the castle. Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn have been seen... Not together ofcourse. Elizabeth I has been seen in the library. Charles I is also sighted, as well as George Viliers, who was the Duke Of Buckingham under Charles I (they were possible lovers). There is a thought that a royalist prisoner haunting the Norman Tower, as well as a young boy often heard to be yelling "I don't want to go riding today" elsewhere in the castle. There is also the ghost of a guard who commited suicide in the castle in the 1920s.
