pol pot was the leader of a cambodian rebel group during Vietnam However he wasn't ever directly involved in the Vietnam War. However he had killed hundreds of Cambodian soldiers and civilians and eventually took control of the country in the 1960s. when he gained power he started a genoicde of anybody in Cambodia that was educated in anyway so that he could achieve his dream of a utopia. In the end he ended up killing 2million cambodians which is over a quarter of the countries population.
