Anything labeled 22 magnum, such as a Henry Golden Boy.
22 Long Rifle
There were .22 'shorts' and .22 LR (long rifle) models made. Read your barrel to determine which you have.
you have to be 18 years or older to buy guns and ammo for guns
Several different manufacturers make it (e.g. Remington, Hornady, Winchester), but there is no such thing as "inexpensive" factory loaded 22 Hornet ammo.
Only if it is chambered for it. If you are not sure, take it to a gunsmith.
Winchester model 04A takes a .22 cal round as it is intended for younger men up to adult
Obviously 22shorts which is a 22caliber rimfire only shorter than the standard long rifle bullet
Your winchester model 1903 shoots a different ammo than regular .22cal rimfire made today. It is chambered for the .22 Winchester auto rimfire cartridge. This ammo can still be found I believe at Old western scrounger. Try www.old western scrounger.com.I believe they are 12.95 a box for 50 rounds, maybe a bit more.
I just started looking to buy a Winchester 69a .22 for Christmas. I typed in Winchester 69a and Winchester 22 rifle into Google & had all sorts of hits for Winchester guns & PARTS. Type it in and look. I am sure you will be able to find it. Happy hunting!
I think you mean 22 WMR ammo. If you buy ammo just ask for the 22 WMR which is different then other 22 ammo
Depends on how the barrel is marked. IMPROVING ANSWER: If this gun will feed the short rounds thru the magazine and action and up into the chamber property, then great. It's safe to use them. It's always safe to shoot .22 shorts or .22 CB ammo in a .22LR gun, but many guns made for .22LR will not cycle or "feed" the shorter weaker rounds in the normal way, so then you'd have to put each round into the chamber yourself. A lot of modern guns that will handle shorts, longs, and long rifle .22 rimfire rounds have the barrels marked simply ".22 LR" and that's a bit misleading.
Google the ammuntion and you will get over 10 pages of possibilites.
