1. M48 Patton tank-90mm gun

2. M551 Sheridan light tank (Armored Airborne Reconnaissance Assault Vehicle) 152mm gun.

3. Australian CENTURION medium tank-84mm gun (20 pounder)

4. M41 Walker Bulldog light tank-76mm gun (used only by the ARVN forces/South Viet Army).

NVA (North Viet Army) armor:

1. T54 or T55 medium tank-100mm gun (Communist Chinese/Soviet supplied)

2. PT76 Amphibious light tank-76mm gun (Communist Chinese/Soviet supplied)

Allied artillery:

1. 105mm, 155mm field guns

2. 60mm, 81mm, 4.2" mortars

3. 90mm & 106mm recoilless rifles

4. 90mm, 8", 155mm, and 175 SPG (Self Propelled Guns)

5. 40mm twin barreled M42 Dusters

6. Six barreled 106mm M50 Ontos

Allied small arms:

All or most equipped with missiles and 20mm cannons (the B-52 bombers were equipped with quad .50 caliber tail gunners): F100 Super Sabre; F101 Voodoo; F102 Delta Dagger; F104 Starfighter; F105 thunderchief; A-1 Skyraider propeller driven dive bomber; A4 Skyhawk; A6 Intruder; A7 Corsair II; F8 Crusader; F4 Phantom II.

2. Helicopters armed with 2.75 inch rockets (unguided) and 7.62mm machine guns: CH13 Sioux; CH34 Choctaw; CH21 Shawnee; CH47 Chinook; UH1 Iroquois (Huey); AH1 Cobra; CH46 Sea Knight; OH-6 Cayuse; OH-58 Kiowa.

3. Riverine boats: Swift Boats-81mm and three .50 caliber machineguns; PBRs .50 caliber machineguns.
