In principle, it is not bad. However, one should take care to only exercize according to the instructions of professional trainers. This is generally advisable for people of any age, but becomes especially important for adolescents, as the body is still growing.
It is advisable to work towards building up lean muscle (i.e. low weights, many reps) rather than bulk muscle (the reverse). Moreover, one should be careful not to overstrain the muscles. Working out till one is somewhat tired out is sufficient. Definitely go to a gym and get professional instructions, rather than just going for it on a home gym though.
im sure u could go with ur parents, but you shouldn't really be needing to work out so young. and no im not one of those adult who try to know it all because im 13 too but still, we still have a lot of time to let our bodies grow and we shouldn't be worried about our bodies. But i understand how you feel. if what you want is to lose weight i suggest you join a sport. i do swimming and that helps out a lot. i lost a lot of weight by just doing swimming for 2 weeks. (but im talking about the swim team, which pushes you.) do something u enjoy. if u like running join track. just do something that you like. also another thing u could do is eat healthy and i don't mean being one of those health nuts, just don't eat as much junk (cuz i did that too...) i mean chocolate is good and u can eat chocolate but just don't eat chocolate, cake, ice cream, cream puffs, and all that stuff in one day. vary your food choices; eat a chocloate bar, a sandwhich, some chips, and an apple for lunch. oh and sun chips are good and healthy, they are my faaaaaaaaaaaav :)
okay well im supposed to be doing my s.s hw so yeah... hope this helped :)
I'm pretty sure you have to be atleast 16 to go alone with a parent or guardian's signature. I may be wrong don't take my word for it but I think this is correct.
You can go at the age of 13 though, as a guest with someone who has a black card membership.
Ofcourse not! But don't go crazy, do some research or talk to a fitness instructor, so you wont harm yourself. And don't grab the heavy weights in the beginning, because you might pull something. Remember, you still have a growing body. Be safe!
u stupid lil 13 year old wat kinda questions r u askin this place ur mad stupid yoo u have ur parents for that n u can ask the gym ppl WOOOWWW
Yes, if you are 12-17 you can go by yourself, but you need to have a parent/guardian sign your paperwork.
Any age is fine
the age years of 10 and up
ymca allows all ages
No state in the US allows that.
You could either cheer at your school or a competitive gym.
try to hide it , or think of something horrible
i believe that if kids work at 13 they will become more responsible.
Question is...would I want you assisting a Doctor at age 13....and that answer is NO my friend.
No.
It depends on the gym, but a lot of gyms will let you join if you are about 12 (with a parent's permission). Fitness 19, for example, lets you join at age 12. So at 13, you should be able to find a gym that will let you join.
your not over weight, if you you are work-out or go to the local gym.
The youngest age you can be to work for avon in my area (Falkirk) is 12-13 years old
