If your engine needs oil, adding it when it hot will not have any adverse effect on either the oil or the engine. Just make sore you don't overfill and you'll be fine.

When you drive your supercharger without oil it will become extremely hot. When these supercharger is extremely hot it can result in burning out the bearing or causing the seal to leak.
Use a wrench and turn it counter clockwise till it is loose. Then keep turning till it falls out into your hand. Beware HOT oil. Hope This Helps.

Your oil is hot.
That depends on the condition of the engine. Generally, use the lightest grade oil that will keep the oil pressure up. Follow the manufacturers recommendations but if the oil pressure falls too much when the engine is hot, change to a higher viscosity oil. I use 5W15 in ours.
