On the day before D-day in the evening when it was all quiet and carm,
Britain sent thousands of gliders away and in them the were loads of parachutists and on that first day 10,000 of British soldiers were killed, BUT Britain never gave up and sent more and more soldiers away and in that first month 1 million British soldiers were somewhere in Europe, fighting through the Atlantic wall to get to Berlin. In the end Britain, USA and Russia dominated and won the war .
